It is a non banking financial company doing the business of lending and borrowing with Its members or shareholders. The government has set up law for the Security of the deposit in the Company to which the cradle is legally necessary.

To encourage and afford all facilities for cultivating thrift, savings habits and to Render all financial assistance to its members only by receiving long and short term Deposits and in particular recurring deposit, fixed deposit and other deposits, not Being current accounts from the members as are allowed by law for Credit Co-Operative Society.

Sahakari has made tremendous progress in a short time. Dada’s intention was to build such a bank building, that people from cities should come to see. And yes! the Sahakari has built a big, spacious, attractive and well furnished building and moved into it on 21-08-2002. The building is a model for other co-operatives.

Now in 2015 Sahakari has 7339 members, Share capital 2.49 crores, funds 19.29 crores, deposits 310 crores, loans advanced 182.66 crores, investments 98.45 crores, profit 2.03 crores. Sahakari has 24 branches (spread over four districts) and 11 of them are operating in own buildings.

Sahakari has just completed it’s prosperous run of 25 years. A state of the art function hall ‘Shri Arihant Sabhagruha’ has been built, in the premises of the main building to commemorate Silver Jubilee Celebration, and will be declared open on 13-10-2015.

We take this opportunity to remember the great efforts made by all the board of directors of all branches, who set aside their personal work, and devoted their time for Sahakari. They have been moving to places, contacting persons, to collect deposits, sanction loans, recovery of loans etc. Our vocabulary is not sufficient to praise their contribution. We salute them all.
